1. The organiser
Kapture events, including the Kapture Impact Awards, are organised by Kapture Communications Ltd (company number 17160990). Tickets are sold through thekapture.com, and Wix takes the payment and issues the tickets. Contact studio@thekapture.com.
2. Your ticket
A ticket admits one person to the event on the date shown. Bring it on your phone or printed, with photo ID that matches the name on the ticket. We may refuse entry to a ticket that has been copied, resold above face value or obtained against these terms.
Event tickets for a specific date are not covered by the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
3. Refunds
- If we cancel the event, you get a full refund of the ticket price.
- If we move it to another date, or to a venue more than 10 miles from the one announced, you can keep your ticket for the new date or venue or ask for a full refund within 14 days of our telling you.
- If the venue had not been announced when you bought, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the announcement.
- Otherwise tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer yours (below).
Refunds go to the payment method used, within 14 days. We do not refund travel, accommodation or other costs, except where the law requires it.
4. Changes to the programme
Awards, speakers, performers, hosts and timings may change. We will tell ticket holders about significant changes as soon as we can. A change to the running order or to a host is not a reason for a refund.
5. Transfers
You can give your ticket to someone else for free or at no more than face value. Email studio@thekapture.com with the new guest’s name and email at least 48 hours before the event, and we reissue the ticket in their name. The new guest is bound by these terms.
6. Filming and photography
The event is filmed, photographed and may be streamed. By attending, you understand that you may appear in footage and photographs we use to cover the event and promote Kapture and the awards, online and in print, without payment.
If you would rather not appear, tell us at check-in: you will get a marker so our crew avoids you, and we will not use footage in which you are clearly identifiable. You can also ask us afterwards, and we will remove you from future use where we reasonably can.
Please do not record speeches or performances for commercial use without our permission.
Children may attend only with a parent or guardian, who consents to filming on their behalf or asks for the marker.
7. Code of conduct
Our events celebrate people. Everyone at the event, guests, nominees, crew and venue staff, is entitled to be treated with respect.
- No harassment, discrimination, intimidation or unwanted physical contact, in person or online.
- Drink responsibly; the venue will not serve anyone under 18 or anyone who appears intoxicated.
- Follow the instructions of our team, security and venue staff, including bag searches.
- No illegal substances, weapons or dangerous items.
If you experience or see anything that worries you, tell any member of the Kapture team at the event or email studio@thekapture.com. We may remove anyone who breaks this code, without a refund, and may refuse them future events.
8. Safety and responsibility
Tell us about any access needs when you book, or by email, and we will do our best to meet them. You are responsible for your belongings. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
9. Your details
We use ticket holders’ names and emails to run the event, check people in and send event information. See our privacy notice.
