Consumer terms

1. Who you are buying from

Kapture Communications Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17160990, registered office Nottingham, United Kingdom. Email studio@thekapture.com.

Business customers buying design, build or monthly plan work are covered by our terms of business.

2. Your order

Before you pay, checkout shows what you are buying, the total price and, for anything that renews, how often and at what price. The contract starts when we confirm your order by email. Keep that email: it is your record of the order and of any choice you made about the cancellation right.

Prices are in the currency shown and include any VAT we must charge.

3. Plans that renew

A plan that renews says so before you pay, in these words: "Renews monthly at £X until cancelled" (or yearly, as the plan says). We take each payment on the same date each period until you cancel.

Cancel online at any time from your account, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We will remind you before a yearly plan renews.

If we change a plan’s price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

4. Your 14-day right to cancel

You can cancel most online purchases within 14 days without giving a reason:

• Digital content and course access: 14 days from the day of purchase. If you ask for access straight away and tick the box at checkout to confirm that you lose the right to cancel once access starts, the right ends when access begins.
• Services, including plans with work from us: 14 days from the day of purchase. If you ask us to start sooner and you then cancel, you pay for what we did until you told us. Once the service is complete, the right ends.
• Physical goods: 14 days from the day you receive them. Send them back within 14 days of cancelling; you pay the return cost unless they are faulty.
• Event tickets for a specific date are not covered by the 14-day right; our ticket terms set out refunds and changes.

To cancel, use "Cancel" in your account or email studio@thekapture.com with your name, order and the words "I cancel my order". We refund within 14 days of your cancellation (for goods, within 14 days of getting them back), to the payment method you used.

5. Model cancellation form

To Kapture Communications Ltd, studio@thekapture.com: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the following: [order]. Ordered on [date]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Date: [today].

6. Akademy courses

A course gives you personal access for the period shown on the course. Do not share your sign-in or course materials. Certificates confirm completion, not a formal qualification, unless the course says otherwise.

Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to buy for them.

7. If something is wrong

Digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it is not, we will repair or replace it; if we cannot within a reasonable time, you can have some or all of your money back. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill; if not, we will put it right or give you a price reduction. These rights come from the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and are in addition to the 14-day right.

Our refund policy describes how we handle refunds in practice; it does not reduce these rights.

8. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses: our products for consumers are for personal use. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Complaints and the law

Tell us at studio@thekapture.com and we will reply within 5 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live.
